Direct Film

Direct films consist of a light-sensitive emulsion affixed to a transparent base, or backing sheet, with special adhesives. Direct Films are adhered to a screen with water, exposed, then washed out.

CDF-QT50 Direct-Film

Intended for printing with plastisol inks on t-shirts and imprinted sportswear items. Extremely fast exposure times make the QT series suited for use with low power light sources. SBQ-sensitized, pink colored film, 50 micron thicknesses. Adhere with water or QTX emulsion. Size 26" x 300" roll - 128.75

CDF-4 Direct-Film

Diazo-sensitized capillary film for use with most solvent-based, uv, or plastisol inks. Traditional green colored film adherable with water or  FX88 emulsion. 38 micron thicknesses. The original,  diazo sensitized capillary films intended for use with relatively mild solvent-based inks such as enamels, poster inks, or plastisols. They should not be used with water-based inks or inks containing vinyl solvents. The green films  turn blue upon exposure to light.

Indirect Film

Indirect films consist of a light-sensitive emulsion affixed to a transparent base, or backing sheet, with special adhesives. Indirect Films are exposed, developed,  washed out and then adhered to a screen.

Indirect films offer superior fine detail reproduction; sharp printing edges; uniform stencil thickness; predictable standardized exposures; close control of stencil thickness, hence ink deposit; fast and simple stencil production; and easy stencil removal for efficient fabric recovery. All Ulano gelatin-based Indirect Films are totally solvent resistant. The topcoat on Ulano Indirect Films prevents tackiness under conditions of heat and high humidity.

Blue Poly-2

 A blue, medium thickness emulsion on a 2-mil optically flat polyester backing. Combines wide exposure latitude with excellent resolution. Ideal for general screen printing work. Resolution: 75 - 100 microns (3 - 4 mils). Available in the following sizes,

Knife Cut films consist of a stencil material affixed to a transparent base, or backing sheet, with special adhesives. Knife cut films are cut by hand or sign plotter then adhered to the screen.

Sta-Sharp Green

Adhered to the screen with Adhering Liquid. Not compatible with any inks containing strong solvents. Green color. Available in the following sizes; 41" x 150" - 70.90, 41" x 300" - 120.40.

Sta-Sharp Adhering Liquid

Specially formulated for adhering Sta-Sharp film to screens. Available in the following sizes;   Quart - 23.25, Gallon - 38.40

Cut Amba

Adhered to the screen with water. Not compatible with water based inks. Orange color. Available in the following size 40" x 150" - 74.50
